The MX Series MAXXUM
tractors come from a long line of quality Case IH tractors. The
four models, ranging from 85 to 115 PTO horsepower, offer

ENGINE:
The compact,
non-structural engine design is solely dedicated to providing raw
agricultural power. The modern design, turbocharged, 5.9 liter, 6
cylinder 359 cu. in. diesel gives you the power you need when you
need it. Offering up to 44% torque rise, this engine has
tremendous lugging ability over a wide spectrum of engine speeds.
The MX Series MAXXUM engine also contains up to 40% fewer parts
than competitive engines, which means greater performance and
reliability. |

CAB/CONTROLS

comfort without sacrificing visibility. Here are many of the
improvements and fine features that you will find when you sit in
the seat of this tractor. |

VISIBILITY:
- By raising the cab headliner,
relocating the cab air filter and adding more glass, the operator
has unobstructed all around upward visibility.
- A narrower steering column provides
better forward vision.
- The exhaust has been moved in front
of the right-hand "A" post to give you better sightlines.
- By removing the right-hand door, a
visibility-hindering middle post has been eliminated.
- 56.6 sq. ft. of glass — 26% more
than previous model — provides a panoramic view.
- Redesigned rear fenders improve
downward visibility for easier implement hook up and backing.
An Option For Every Chore:
The L600 loaders are just as
strong and versatile as MAXXUM® tractors. Compact, box beam
construction makes the new loaders rugged and durable. Optional
attachments let you move, lift, push or dump just about anything you
might need to. And improved upward sightlines increase visibility.
Ergonomic controls eliminate the
need to shift your attention away from your work. The shuttle-shift
lever allows you to reverse directions without clutching, tractor
speed can be varied using the foot accelerator and the loader can be
fully operated by a single joystick. This superior loader system
results in fast cycle times and efficient chore work.
